  19.     Aminet CD 6 contains over 1 gigabyte of freely distributable software.
  20.     The newest file included is dated Apr 28th. The space is used as 
  21.     follows (uncompressed sizes):

  23.       520M of software newer than Aminet CD 5
  24.       500M of demos
  25.        20M of top downloads
  26.  
  27.     These consist of:
  28.       1800 demos
  29.       1300 tools
  30.        350 mods
  31.        140 pics
  32.        120 games
  33.  
  34.     The demos were collected from various sources besides Aminet, and almost 
  35.     none of them have appeared on previous Aminet CDs.

  37.     The disks also contains all Amiga Report magazines issued so far.

  40. ACCESS SOFTWARE
  41.  
  42.     Amigaguide based user interface, allows easy unpacking and viewing 
  43.     using a single mouse click.
  44.  
  45.     Extensive search facilities. Finds words in descriptions or readmes,
  46.     and outputs matches as an index that allows direct viewing.
  47.  
  48.     New access features for the following categories of files:
  49.  
  50.     - Demos: All demos have been tested. Separate lists of best, good and 
  51.       compatible demos. All demos startable from those indices. Another 
  52.       demo index is the Amiga Demo List with extensive info about almost 
  53.       all demos on the CD. It is sorted by demo group. Finally there is a 
  54.       program called BootTool that allows you to view demos right after a
  55.       reboot without much fuss, so you can quickly look at the demos that 
  56.       force you to reboot.

  58.     - Mods: All of the modules are listed in indices sorted by music style 
  59.       and rating. There's also an index sorted by module author and the
  60.       possibility to randomly play music of a certain style.

  62.     - Docs: All Amiga Report electronic magazines that have appeared so far
  63.       are on this CD, including a utility that allows you to search for any
  64.       text in any AR article very quickly.
  65.  
  66.     - Personal: Aminet CD 6 allows you to easily create an index of your
  67.       favourite files on the CD.
  68.  
  69.     - German: All the files (except demos) on Aminet CD 6 have a German
  70.       description. Also included is an index of the SaarAG disks up to
  71.       840.

  73.     Other improvements are the possibility to use file requesters to
  74.     set extraction and tool paths, and 'Clones' which are little programs 
  75.     that, when started, unpack and run/view a file from the Aminet CD.
